Lucy joined Mazuma in January 2019 – hitting the ground running at one of our busiest times! This didn’t faze her, as she has over 20 years’ experience of fast-paced business environments, so she quickly settled in.
She is passionate about providing excellent customer service and has honed her skills working in both the private and public sector – which makes her the perfect fit for the role.
When you sign up to Mazuma, Lucy oversees your account set up ensuring everything runs as smoothly as possible. She knows that getting our clients efficiently settled into our service is a top priority and makes for good working relationships.
Lucy’s experience, from business-to-business to financial services means she’s adept at interacting with our clients. She knows that the industry can move quickly, so Lucy is keen to learn and develop herself.
Her business to business experience is invaluable when dealing with our suppliers. Being the Office Manager, Lucy understands that keeping the operations running smoothly behind the scenes is crucial to providing Mazuma’s outstanding customer service. The team have commented that she has a no-nonsense approach, but Lucy just thinks she’s being assertive!
Lucy is known for having a “thing” for keeping active, mainly running – anything from a sprint round the block to ultra-marathons. When she’s not training herself, she coaches junior athletes and is a qualified UKAthletics coach. Lucy coaches at her local athletics club, where she’s also club secretary and is a support coach for the regional endurance squad. Lucy is also president of South Wales Regional Athletics Council.
